Lamont Edward Wilson, Jr. is expected to graduate from
Florida A & M University in December.
The Watts, California native came to Florida A & M in
Spring 2010 to further a career in broadcast journalism and sports marketing.
While at FAMU, Lamont joined a student media production
called Franchise Sports. He helps anchor a segment called “Analyze This” and he also
serves as a field reporter. He also was
staff writer for the sports section of the school’s newspaper, The FAMUAN.
This Fall, he helped launch a radio show call “The
Playmakers” with like-minded colleagues Taroy Jackson and Antonie Shelton. The
show focuses on FAMU and all FCS sports.
Lamont has interned with MLB’s Winter Meetings Dallas, TX and is currently spending his second year interning
with FAMU’s sports information department.
Upon his graduation, Lamont will return home to California
and start his career in sports marketing.
